It’s the timely return of Snapped Ankles!
They’ve given up trying to make sense of it all. The forest only offers so much protection. Feeding on a diet of fractured narratives, meme culture, viral moments and the very worst of human impulses weighs heavy. The woodwose hold up a mirror to the absurdity of modern life once again. The only sane response is to dance.

Decius - 'Queen Of 14th St'

That sweet release is fast approaching, but there’s still time for one more amuse-bouche before the Decius Vol. II feasting begins. ‘Queen Of 14th St’ is an ode to New York nightlife, from when the members of Decius would DJ in the old meatpacking district. There’s a taste of classic disco to this particular dish.
It’s accompanied by a video which features dry ice and a PVC catsuit as many of the best videos do.
Decius Vol. II (Splendour & Obedience) will land perfectly formed on January 31st, 2025. Laurence Pike - The Undreamt-of Centre (Live At Phoenix Central Park) Out Now

Laurence Pike's new live album is out today. Recorded in August at Sydney's Phoenix Central Park with the VOX Sydney Philharmonia Choir, it documents the live premiere of his latest release, The Undreamt-of Centre.
Its release coincides with Pike's AFTERWORLD performances at The Sydney Festival - a collaboration with choreographer and film maker Sue Healey, which brings a new dimension to his record based on the Greek myth of Orpheus. Pike is performing music from The Undreamt-Of Centre, alongside dancers and projections featuring the final work of Eileen Kramer as Eurydice. Shows run until January 11th at the Bell Shakespeare Theatre.
